Reducing common distance learning barriers through innovative studio design
We built an innovative space for faculty, staff, and students to explore video and audio production and speech communication without studio, technology, or media expertise using the One Button Studio (OBS). Our aim is to empower users to engage by reducing common barriers to one click of a button.

Underrepresented Student Perception of Success in STEM Fields
In a round table discussion for the Society for Information Technology & Teacher Education, we propose sharing the results of a pilot study we conducted in summer 2021, where we surveyed college students in STEM courses and identified gaps among underrepresented students.

Meta-learning through dominoes: 42 the national game of Texas.
The lesson I designed aims to educate students in understanding learning as an iterative process regardless of the topic or skill. The focus of this lesson is on critical thinking which is essential to developing strong meta-learning skills.
