I am a digital literacy and emerging technology expert adept at designing and teaching intuitive, effective learning environments. With a strong foundation in instructional design methodologies and learning theories, I am thrive in leveraging learning technologies to create engaging, learner-centric experiences that drive knowledge retention and performance improvement. Experienced academic leader, researcher, and librarian with over 20 years of expertise in strategic program design, curriculum development, and assessment. A seasoned administrator and Associate Professor with a strong record in qualitative research and competitive proposal development in emerging technologies, and 16 years of building impactful library partnerships and community initiatives.
ABOUT
PhD student in Learning Technologies Program at University of North Texas. Research is pointing toward critical digital literacies in higher education for incoming students for academic and career success.

I love my family, reading, and getting outdoors. Living in Galveston, TX means sailing, cruising, beach combing, biking, and playing at the beach on Tuesdays. I drink irresponsible amounts of coffee, write, read, and think my days away from the obligatory island hammock.
